Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. It was a very last-minute request. My wife and I had just gotten married, and she said she wanted a cake for that night. I didn’t want to buy a random cake from Walmart or Sam’s Club, so I asked if they could make a custom one for me. It was already late in the afternoon, so I wasn’t expecting them to say yes. But they told me it was no problem and made a beautiful cake in my wife’s favorite color within 3 hours. I've become their customer since 2019 and they NEVER let me down with their food. Their cakes and deserts are definitely top tier and fresh, and most importantly, they are probably THE most efficient bakery you can ever find in Pittsburgh area.

This bakery filled a huge void in the south hills for Asian baked goods! The flavors are just like when we go to the many Asian bakeries in Toronto so we were instantly in love. The baked goods are much less sweet than a standard American bakery. I love the items in the cooler case the best such as the crepe cakes and the cake with the milk foam, but it's had not to grab a coconut bun or the almond raisin cookies. And the special order cakes are BEAUTIFUL and delicious. She has bubble tea, ice cream and now savory food too. It's a favorite spot along Washington Road.

I was traveling to the area for work and needed a cake for a colleague’s birthday. I stopped by at 1.30pm for the same evening. Amy and her team were able to make us a cake and it was delicious: light, not too sweet and super fresh. We all loved it. Amy was very helpful in finding a last minute option and made everything easy. This is a 8” strawberry vanilla sponge cake.

Amy's has the best mille crepe! We got a whole pistachio cake when visiting friends and it was gone before I could take a photo. There are more layers in the cake than what most other shops offer, and more favor options too. You can tell the quality ingredients and the cake is not overly sweet. I would visit next time in town!

We will come here every chance we get!! Such a sweet lady. Everything we tasted was amazing! The Oreo Mochi was the first thing we tried. It was so light and delicious. I've never tasted anything like it. Such a soft delightful dessert, so many options to choose from.
